Winner: Tickets for SIHGA seminar

Katharina Bernroider did everything right in our trade fair competition and the likeable Holztechnikum Kuchl student can now look forward to free participation in one of our high-quality, practical specialist seminars. The voucher also includes travel to and from the seminar and catering for one additional accompanying person. 

She answered the competition question "How many screws does the king of fasteners (IdeFix® - the original) need?" correctly. The rest was taken care of by our lucky draw, which choose Katharina from the competition participants. 

Katharina is in the fifth semester of her Wood Technology and Timber Construction degree programme in Kuchl, shortly before completing her bachelor's degree. Her interest in timber construction was already awakened during her time at the HTL, as she particularly liked the construction specialisation. This interest was strengthened by her family connection to wood, through relatives who work as carpenters and joiners. The connection to the material was therefore present in the family from an early age. After the wood technology centre introduced itself to Katharina at the HTL she was attending at the time and she found out more about it, she quickly chose Kuchl as the place to study. 

We are already looking forward to welcoming Katharina and a companion back to the SIHGA Academy next year for a seminar of her choice. And we can't wait to see which of the many topics she will choose.
