Building physics in timber construction

Please note: This seminar will be held in German.

From theory to practice

Timber construction offers many advantages and is experiencing a strong upturn. In order to achieve the best possible lifespan for the structures, appropriate know-how in the field of building physics is a prerequisite. This seminar focuses on heat and moisture protection in timber construction.

“The devil is in the details” - the Condetti training method was developed with this in mind. The seminar participants receive theoretical input in short lectures from the well-known experts Robert Borsch-Laaks and Martin Teibinger. Directly afterwards, detailed solutions are developed together in workshops. Ideally, timber builders work together with specialist planners and architects – just like in real life.

The biggest enemy of timber construction is water. During planning and execution, every effort is made to prevent moisture from accumulating in the construction due to water vapor convection and diffusion as best as possible. This seminar will show you how sensor technology (moisture sensors) can be used to provide additional protection for timber construction. After all, a long lifespan is the most important prerequisite for sustainability.

Target group: Timber builders, architects, construction engineers, construction managers, specialist planners, suppliers.
Participants: Participation is limited to 40 people. Consideration will be given in the order in which registrations are received.
